CV Softball LL Allstars

Registration for Little League All-Star Tournament Teams are open to girls league age 8- 12 as of December 31, 2025.
Players MUST have participated in the regular spring season and they must have played in at least 8 of the 12 games.

ALL STARS PROCESS:

All stars are for ages 8 to 12. The age is whatever your player's age is on December 31st of 2025.

3 divisions of play:

• 8-10 (uses 11 inch ball / pitching from 35ft)
• 9-11 (uses 12 in ball / pitching from 40ft)
• Little League (10-12) (uses 12 in ball / pitching from 40ft)

** Please note that players should sign up in the age in which they are most likely to compete. This does not have to be the same division that the player played within the regular season. It is suggested that players that are "playing up" for regular season, select the division based on their age.

Coaches will be selected, then player selection for each individual teams is up to the head coach of the specific age group. 

Registration for players will close on May 21st to give the coaches time to evaluate and hold workouts\tryouts (if needed - based on the number registered) .
If they need help in a division with a formal tryout, they will call upon the league or all star coaches from the other age groups to evaluate. Playoff games may be used as a way to evaluate players if needed.  Rosters will be finalized following any evaluation/tryouts needed.

• Availability  

Fees: 

There will be a fee to pay for each player's Jersey who makes an all star team . This will be invoiced at a later time after teams are formed.
There will also be a small fundraiser for each team to help pay for a portion of the tournament costs.

Dates/Tournament Schedules:
Practices will begin in early June and scheduled base on the Coach/Team Availability.

All Age Divisions should be prepared to play possible warmup tournaments, districts, and states level tournaments.
Little League (Majors 10-12) Division should also be prepared to possibly play in  Regionals and World Series. 

Players will be asked to commit to the tournament schedules below!

• Sections: All Levels
• States: All Levels
• Regionals: LL (Majors) only
• LLSWS: LL (Majors) only
  

Coach Selection Process:  

Registration for coaches will close on May 16th!  
Each team will have a maximum of 3 coaches, 1 Team Manger (Head Coach) and up to 2 assistant coaches (per Little League rules).   All coaches interested in either role (Team Manager or Assitant Coach), must complete the google form linked below. 

All-Star Team Manager (Head Coach) Selection
Head coaches for all age groups will be selected by the All-Star Committee at the close of the registration period.  Coaches registration will be open until Saturday May 16th (It will close on this date at 11:59pm)
If one of the All-Star Committee members applies to coach a specific age group, that individual will be excluded from all conversations and decisions regarding that age group.

Coach Eligibility: 
To be eligible as an All-Star Team Manger (Head coach), you must currently serve as a Team Manager (head coach) or named assistant coach on a team roster within the league.  An email was sent to those coaches that would be eligible as an All-Star Coach.  
** Please note:
8-10 Division and 9-11 Division - The manager and coach(es) shall be regular season team managers and/or named coaches from the Little League Softball (Major) Division or Minor League Player Pitch Division. 
Little League (Major) Division - The manager and coach(es) shall be regular season team manager and/or named coaches from the Little League (Major) Division.  

The primary criteria in selecting coaches will be:
  * Experience coaching softball at a competitive level
  * Overall coaching experience
  * Overall involvement within the organization

Selection may also take into account the skill level/performance of the player(s) that are affiliated with the coach.  
Once selections are finalized, head coaches will be notified and announced to the league.  
Head coaches will be asked to share their selections for up to a maximum of 2 assistant coaches from the remaining list of registered coaches within that specific age group with the All-Star committee for review.  

Coaches will be asked to commit to the tournament schedule for their age division above.
