Can I participate in if I do not live in the CV school district?
Yes. Assuming the player lives in an area that does not have a charter Little League Softball program, we will apply for a waiver through Little League International on your player's behalf. In order to proceed, we will need a written statement that contains the reason for the request (i.e. - player lives in an area which does not have a chartered Little League Softball program). The information provided should contain as much relevant information as possible in order for our Board and the Charter Committee to make an informed decision.
Please be sure the statement includes the following player information:
1. Player's name
2. Player's home address
3. Player's school address
4. Player's age & birthdate
The written statement should be sent to [email protected]. We will respond confirming receipt and will notify you of a decision ASAP.
Please be sure to also register your child for the applicable season through our website. Full refunds will be provided if a waiver is denied for any reason.
What is League Age?
Your player’s league age is determined by the Little League Softball® Age Chart and determines the division in which your Little Leaguer will play this season. The Age Determination Date for a Little League Softball player is the actual age of a child on December 31 of the previous year.
For our Spring 2026 seasons, we go by the charts below to determine league age according to birth month and year.
You can also use our online calculator to determine your athlete's league age and their division placement.
