CV Softball is excited to bring you Fall Softball.
The goals of CV Softball for Fall Ball are:
- Teach the fundamentals of fielding, throwing, batting and pitching
- Prepare the girls for the spring season
- Teach the girls how to enjoy the game of softball
- Most of all Have Fun
All games will be played Sunday afternoons and all teams will have at least one practice during the week starting in Late August.
Games start Sunday Aug 27 , end Oct 22.
Fall Ball Tournaments will be 8U Sept 23-24th, 10U and 12U Sept 30 n Oct 1, 2016.
6u girls will have once a week instructional clinics. Dates and times to be determined.
All girls should play in the Division they are going to play in next spring.
We will have four divisions that participate in the West Shore Minors fast pitch league (8U, 10U, 12U and 14U). We will also offer 16U fast pitch but whether we have a team will be dependent on how many CV girls register for this division and how many teams there are from the West Shore Minors. We will offer full refunds in the event that we cannot offer 16U fast pitch. Fall ball is a way to encourage the girls to play fast pitch in a less competitive and more instructional environment. The division your daughter will play is dictated by your daughter’s age in 2018, so she will be in the same division she would play in the 2018 spring leagues. We will also be offering softball clinics for girls six years and under. Registration ends on August 4. Practices will start in mid-August and games will start on August 30.

6U Softball Recreational Clinic
For those girls ages 5 or 6 in 2018, there will be a softball recreational clinic. This purposes of the clinics are designed to enhance fundamentals, to allow girls to play softball in between springs, to have the girls gain confidence in hitting, fielding and pitching and for the girls TO HAVE FUN. Girls will hit off the T’s and coaches.
For those girls ages 7 or 8 as of January 1, 2018, we will be playing in the West Shore Minors league that will play on six Sundays starting August 27 through October 22rd. There is a mid-season tournament on Sept 23-24 and practices will be once or twice per week beginning in mid-August. . This is an opportunity for girls who wish to learn the fast pitch game in a less competitive season than the spring. Practices will focus on teaching the rules of fast pitch, pitching, catching, bunting and stealing. We will play one 7 inning game each Sunday. Cost is $60 per girl.
10U Fast Pitch West Shore Minors League
For those girls ages 9 or 10 as of January 1, 2018, we will be playing in the West Shore Minors league that will play on six Sundays starting August 27 through October 22rd. There is a mid-season tournament on October 1-2 and practices will be once or twice per week beginning in mid-August. This is an opportunity for girls who wish to learn the fast pitch game in a less competitive season than the spring. Practices will focus on teaching the rules of fast pitch, pitching, catching, bunting and stealing. We will play one 7 inning game each Sunday. Cost is $60 per girl.
12U Fast Pitch West Shore Minors League
For those girls ages 11 or 12 as of January 1, 2018, we will be playing in the West Shore Minors league that will play on six Sundays starting August 27 through October 22rd. There is a midseason tournament on October1-2and practices will be once or twice per week beginning in mid-August. This is for girls who have never played fast pitch as well as those who wish to continue enhancing their skills. We will play a double header each Sunday. Cost is $60 per girl.
14U Fast Pitch West Shore Minors League
For those girls 13 and 14 as of January 1, 2018, we will be playing in the West Shore Minors league that will play on six Sundays starting August 27 through October 22rd. There is a midseason tournament is to be determined and practices will be once or twice per week beginning in mid-August. We will play a double header each Sunday. Cost is $60 per girl.
